How to Order
Ordering on rorstore.scholastic.com is fast, easy, and secure. But if you’d
prefer to place your order by phone or fax, please visit
Customer Service for the appropriate numbers.
If you have a catalog and know the product(s) you want to order, use
Catalog Quick Order for fast and easy ordering. Otherwise, please
follow the steps below.

1. Browse products

Shop by category.
Links to each category appear at the top of each page.

Search
for products by item number (from the catalog) or keyword(s).

2. Select Products: Add to Cart
When you see products you’d like to purchase, click on the Add to Cart button
and they will automatically be added to your personal shopping cart. You can
review the items in your cart at any time by clicking on My Cart in the
upper right-hand corner of every ROR Store web page.
On your shopping cart page, you can:

Increase the quanitities of items ordered
-
Delete items from your cart
-
Proceed to checkout, or
-
Continue shopping
The items you add to your cart will remain there until you purchase them,
delete them, or end your shopping session. If you want to save the items in
your cart for future session, you must register with
rorstore.scholastic.com
.

3. Proceed to Checkout
When you’re done shopping, click on the
Proceed to Checkout
button from the Shopping Cart page, or
Checkout
from the top of the page.
The checkout process is quick and easy. You’ll be asked for:

Your e-mail address.
Registered customers can enter their password for express checkout.

Shipping information.
-
Billing information.
Please note: Your email address will be used to provide you with order and
shipping confirmation emails only, unless you select to be added to our
customer mailing list.

4. Review and Submit Your Order
You will have the opportunity to review and make changes to your order before
submitting.

Verify shipping and billing information.
-
Review all of the products listed.

Review the total dollar amount.
Sales Tax
We are required by law to charge sales tax on all shipments delivered in
Arizona, California, Hawaii, North Carolina, and Washington.

Once you’ve verified that the order information is correct, click the
Submit Order
button. You will then see an order confirmation page, which we recommend you
print out for your records. You will also receive an order confirmation e-mail.

field at the top of every page, to type in what you're looking for – either
keywords or item number – and click
Go.
Search by Keyword
Type in as many words as you’d like to describe the type of product(s) you are
looking for.
Search by Item Number
If you know a product’s catalog item number, you can type that into the search
field.

but, unfortunately, problems do occasionally occur. Here are some tips to
ensure the best experience on rorstore.scholastic.com.
1. Make sure your browser software is up-to-date.
You’ll have the best results using Explorer 5 and above,
Netscape 6 and above, Safari 1.2 and above, and AOL 4 and above. If your
browser software is older than these, we recommend updating.

If you’re using Windows

2. Make sure javascript is turned on.
Javascript is a programming tool that
rorstore.scholastic.com and many other websites use to enhance their
functionality.
Please consult the Help screen in your Web browser to learn
how to enable javascript if it had previously been disabled.
3. Make sure “cookies” are enabled.
“Cookies” are small packets of information that a web page
asks your browser to store. rorstore.scholastic.com does not store information
on your computer, but does use cookies technology to keep track of customer
sessions. This poses no security or privacy risk to you.
You will not be able to register or place items in your
cart if cookies are not enabled.
